What is a Hot Water Meter and What Does It Do?
It is a measuring instrument that determines the amount of water used by connecting to the inlet of the water installation for measuring the consumption of hot water. The energy efficiency law (heat sharing regulation) requires the implementation of cost sharing systems in buildings where sanitary hot water is obtained from central systems. It is a device that measures the amount of hot water passing through the water inlet line on the basis of m3 and liters. Devices should be left open to avoid communication problems. The communication module on the meter must be protected from any impact and water contact. Different types of counter options are available. It is suitable for all kinds of mounting diameters and shapes. The meter direction must be the same as the flow direction of the water. Meter assemblies must be horizontal, with the calculation units facing up. In order to prevent reverse flow, check valves can be installed in the branches before the meters.
